Cybersecurity specialist since 2006 I've started my career following a passion, trying to learn defense techniques and port this knowledge into my professional activities. This attitude guided me into a journey characterized by a lot of studies, tentative and test that allowed me to learn a lot about the cybersecurity challenges and limits, identifying the major gaps that are affecting every type of organizations.
In 2014 I discovered the community world and in 2018, with other cybersec professionals, I founded Cyber Saiyan, a non profit organization born with the aim to promote the cybersecurity culture. Since 2018 we organize RomHack, a cybersecurity conference. We extended the RomHack format with a Hacker Camp in 2022 and Training in 2023.
In the last 5 years I had the opportunity to discover the OT domain. My actual job is help organizations into the cybersecurity journey related to the OT facilities and this position gave me the opportunity to analyze and understand what means develop an OT cybersecurity plans into a modern plant.
